Starting in Tashkent and ending in magnificent Samarkand, discover the culture, history and the present-day life of the ancient Silk Road cities with this fourteen days odyssey to the heart of the Silk Road. Tour Plan
- Arrival in Tashkent. Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time at the hotel.
- If you have a free day in Tashkent, do not miss the opportunity to explore Gulkam Canyon located in the Chimgan Mountains — a perfect destination for adventure lovers.
- Tour itinerary:
- 09:00–11:00 Transfer to the mountains.
- 11:00–12:00 Start hiking from 1600 m with an ascent (+220 m) to the Gulkam Pass (1820 m), offering panoramic views of the mountains and river valley.
- 12:00–13:00 Descent through a small birch forest to the canyon (1550 m), short rest and lunch.
- 13:00–15:00 Lunch break.
- 15:00–17:00 Trekking through the canyon — the most exciting part of the route. Walk along narrow rocky corridors (up to 5 meters wide), cross the river multiple times, pass small waterfalls and enjoy breathtaking canyon views.
- At the exit of the canyon, meet your driver. On the way back, stop for photos at Charvak Reservoir.
- Overnight at Charos DeLuxe Resort.
- Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the domestic airport in Tashkent and flight to Urgench. Upon arrival, transfer to the ancient city of Khiva. Check-in at the hotel at 14:00. Free day at leisure.
- Dinner at the restaurant Yasavul Boshi.
- Overnight in Khiva.
- Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby and begin a guided walking tour. Spend the day exploring Itchan Kala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest open-air museum in Central Asia.
- Visit Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Kunya Ark, Juma Mosque Khiva, Tash Khovli Palace, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum and Islam Khoja Minaret.
- Free time in the afternoon.
- 19:00 Dinner with show program at Terrace Restaurant.

- Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and meet your guide in the lobby. Begin the journey exploring the ancient desert fortresses: Toprak Kala, Qizil Kala, Ayaz Kala and Guldursun Kala.
- After the экскурсия, continue the drive through the Kyzylkum Desert towards Bukhara (approx. 8 hours by bus). Arrival in Bukhara and transfer to the hotel.
- Dinner at Old House Restaurant, featuring traditional lamb on a spit.
- Overnight in Bukhara.
- Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby and begin a full-day city tour of Bukhara.
- Explore the historic trading domes — Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon and Toki Zargaron, as well as the Lyabi-Khauz ensemble. Visit the 12th-century Kalyan Minaret, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Ismail Samani Mausoleum and the ancient Ark of Bukhara citadel.
- Continue with visits outside the city center: Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, Chor-Bakr Necropolis and Bahauddin Naqshband Complex.
- In the evening, enjoy a folklore show at Nadir Devon Begi madrasah.
- Dinner at Lyabi Hauz Restaurant.
- Overnight at the hotel.
- In the morning depart from Bukhara and drive to the yurt camp in the Kyzylkum Desert (230 km, ~4 hours). On the way, stop in Gijduvan to visit a traditional pottery workshop, then continue to Nurata to explore a local mosque with a sacred spring.
- Drive further through the desert, stopping at Nurata pass to see ancient petroglyphs. Arrival at Safari Yurt Camp and accommodation in traditional yurts. Enjoy camel riding and free time in the desert surroundings.
- In the evening, dinner by the campfire accompanied by Kazakh akyn folk songs. Overnight in the yurt.

- Breakfast at the yurt camp. Drive via Aydarkul Lake to the Nuratau Mountains. Arrival and accommodation in a homestay in Sentob village or Uhum village.
- Explore the village and experience the traditional lifestyle of mountain dwellers. The village is located between the mountains and the Kyzylkum Desert, preserving authentic culture and untouched nature. Local people build houses from stone and clay, grow their own food, bake bread in tandyr ovens, and live in harmony with nature.
- Guests can take part in daily activities such as bread baking, observe local traditions and, depending on the season, witness traditional horseback games like Kupkari. Popular activities include hiking, bird watching, eco tours and photography. You can also relax on a tapchan, drink tea and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
- Dinner with a local family. Overnight in the village.
- Breakfast at the guest house in the Nuratau Mountains. Depart and drive to Samarkand. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Free time for rest.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a wine tasting at Khovrenko Winery, one of the oldest wineries in the region.
- Dinner at a local restaurant in Samarkand.

- Visit Registan Square, the iconic heart of the city, then Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, the resting place of Timur. Continue to Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Siyob Bazaar and the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis.
- Further visits include Afrasiab Museum and Ulugh Beg Observatory. Then travel to Konigil village to visit the Meros Paper Mill, where traditional Samarkand silk paper is handmade from mulberry.
- In the evening, attend a costume show at El Meros Theater, showcasing national traditions and culture.
- Dinner at Karimbek Restaurant.
